QuantumCLS was appointed by Pembrokeshire College to act as the Project and Cost Manager for their new entrance and refurbishment of an existing teaching block. The project which has been designed by Powell Dobson Architects, Curtins and Stantec is circa 500m2 of new build and 1,500m2 of refurbished internal floor space on its main college site in Haverfordwest.
The new structure will provide a new draught lobby, office space, an immersive classroom, specialist computing rooms and a new boardroom for the college. There will also be new landscaping to the front of the entrance to provide a more coherent and compliant accessible entrance route, with enhanced amenity planting for both sustainable drainage and biodiversity enhancements. There will also be an accompanying internal retrofit of the adjacent G7 corridor, and this retrofit itself provides several new specialised teaching areas and staff facilities also.
