QuantumCLS has been appointed by a private Client to act as Project & Cost Manager on an £8,000,000 residential scheme in Porthcawl. The works comprise the demolition of the existing Pier Hotel on the Esplanade in Porthcawl for the provision of private apartments, incorporating social housing and basement parking.

QuantumCLS has been engaged from inception to lead and manage the design team in the provision of option studies to establish the best financially viable solution for the client. QuantumCLS’ detailed cost appraisal informed the design and working alongside the development team established a viable solution for submission to the planning authority. The scheme is still in the planning stage and QuantumCLS are looking forward to developing the final solution always seeking to maximise value for the client through collaboration with the design team. QuantumCLS will be providing risk management and procurement advice along with consideration of appropriate contracting arrangements, as well as full Project Management and Cost Management through to completion of the scheme.
