QuantumCLS has been assisting Bristol Airport in setting up a framework for suitably experienced contractors.
Bristol Airport has ambitious plans to meet the growing demand for air travel to and from the region they serve. The Airport has developed a Master Plan looking ahead towards 2050 and has submitted a Master Plan to North Somerset Council in support of the growth plans for up to 12 million passengers a year by the mid-2020s.
The framework is being set up to streamline the procurement process and to facilitate the capital works to the required programme, if granted planning permission, and to provide consistency of approach, increased quality through all stages of the life cycle of the facilities, encourage innovation, and above all, in a safe and sustainable manner, all of which will reduce out-turn costs.
Bristol Airport will be seeking to appoint approximately five suitable Providers for each of the following four lots:
1) Building Works £100,000 < £2,000,000
2) Building Works £2,000,000 and over
3) Civil Engineering Works £100,000 < £2,000,000
4) Civil Engineering Works £2,000,000 and over
